About us
Secret Leaves paperworks is an independent paper arts studio in St. Louis, Missouri.
We design and handcraft beautiful journals and albums, blank greeting cards, recycled
gift enclosures and other handmade stationery products.
We love old things and the stories they tell. We want to pass that along by caring about what
we make and how we make it, and by carefully preserving the small details that inspire awe.
We often use vintage ephemera in our work, including yellowing book pages, tattered sheet
music, well-worn maps, dog-eared postcards, handed-down recipes and more. Meticulous
craftsmanship, attention to detail and original design are hallmarks of Secret Leaves products.
By their nature, our products are about recycling and reuse. When we do use new materials,
we specify environmentally-friendly papers and inks and work with local green printers.
We recycle old boxes for shipping and shred our scraps for packing material. What we can’t
reuse is taken to the local recycling center.
We want to make things we love. We want to have fun. And we always want to be proud
of what we make and how we go about it.
